Assignment 2- Less is More

Less is more assignment wants us to create a pictogram making a statement with two celebrities/politicians
i decided with ghandi and hitler because they were of relatively opposite characters and with that property i hope to portray the idea of peace and destruction!

feedback was that the cleaning process is not clean enough, hence there is a possibility to further develop the abstraction

this was the 2 of my prototype draft 1
however the general feedback was maybe the position of the two characters can be further explored and the peace sign and be further cleaned up!

currently still in process of improving!
update again on assign 2 =))

//
after "cleaning up" the peace sign and the characters, here is my final abstraction process!!
the peace sign at Hitler's sign is made up of small little swastika sign(which supposedly represent Hitler) and its stained with "blood" whereas Gandhi's side is complete and clean!

Assignment 1 - Me, Myself and I (1C)

after some more improvements, here's assignment prototype version 3!!

critique: "G" looks like A / cannot see inverted A and E

made changes with regards to the A&E (indeed it felt like A&E dept =.=)

the A is shifted onto the hand grip!!! well at least i think it looks better and more like A. but having such a TALL A makes me feel small! ><

E is still at right whiskers, instead of removing it from the whiskers, the left whiskers are colored with a lighter orange shade to bring the audience's attention to the bright whiskers (WHEE)

just some thoughts while making changes again and again for this assignment.

every time i make changes to how i want to represent the letters in my name, its like the process of trying very hard again and again to shape myself to become better in real life. don't we? we try so hard every day to make ourselves better, to gain acceptance from people ard us. when they aren't so happy, we change again. we remain the same at our own risk. will we eventually become a better person after the time and again changes? would the people ard me be happy with me, about me? can i just be who i want to be and who i am? will this design become better and more acceptable after i changed it? shld i persevere? is it worth it?

Assignment 1 - Me, Myself and I (1B)

For prototype 1 i decided to combine the camera body and the stretching cat together, however the feedback is that its too confusing that for the audience to recognize the letters f my name. Currently, i am still working to improve my final prototype!!
